Ceramic Coating

If any of these describe your thoughts, a ceramic coating is ABSOLUTELY worth the investment.    

 The reason ceramic coatings are a more expensive service, is simply because of the work and skill that it takes to apply them and the length of time the protection can last. It is not nearly as simple as just slapping on some protection,  and letting it dry for a little while. Before a ceramic coating can eve be applied, the vehicle must be polished, at a minimum one time, but  more often than not, the paint requires a 2 or 3 step polish because most paint has serious swirls, scratches,  etc...  Depending on the severity,this process can take 8+ hours. Polishing is required because before the paint is sealed in with the protective ceramic coating, the swirls, scratches, and defects in the paint must be corrected.  Otherwise, we would be sealing in all of those horrible scratches, swirl  marks, etc... for the next 4 years!  At this point the coating is finally applied, but even that is not quite as simple as it sounds.  Coatings require "prep" products to be used before actually applying the coating itself.  After the coating is applied, there are finishing products that must be applied over it as well. The entire coating application process can take many more hours as well depending on the size of the car itself. It is for this reason that ceramic coatings tend to be more expensive. The hours of work and skill required to apply require a more hefty compensation for obvious reasons.

As in any protective coating such as sealant or ceramic coating, the length of protection life depends greatly on home care.  Automatic car washes greatly reduce protection longevity.  Proper cleaning agents and water must be used to maintain the protection. 

For this reason, we offer all our ceramic coating clients monthly maintenance washes at a reduced rate.  It is very important for us to see your car back at least once every six months however we recommend the monthly wash plan.
